One color or six. One shirt or two hundred. Same fair price per piece.
Screen printing pushes ink through a mesh stencil directly onto the fabric, one color at a time. It's the method behind almost every band tee, team shirt, and event giveaway you've ever owned — because when you're doing more than a handful of pieces, it's still the cheapest way to get a bold, durable print that survives a hundred washes without cracking or fading. Most shops treat that "more than a handful" part as a wall: order 24, 36, 50 — or don't bother. We don't. If you want three shirts for a bachelor party, you get screen-printed shirts at the same per-piece rate math as the 60-shirt company order two customers down the line, adjusted only for the actual screen and setup cost that scales with quantity, not padded to punish small orders.

Screen Printing
Best For
- Orders of 6+ pieces in the same design (this is where screen printing's per-piece cost beats DTG and DTF)
- Bold, simple designs — 1 to 4 solid colors, thick lines, block text
- Anything that needs to survive years of washing: work shirts, team gear, merch you'll actually wear out
- Large designs on dark fabric, where screen-printed white/light ink lays down more solid than DTG

From art file to finished piece.
We look at your design for print-readiness — color count, line detail, anything that won't translate to mesh — and flag issues before you pay for anything.
One screen gets burned per ink color in your design. This is the fixed cost that exists whether you order 1 shirt or 500 — we show it separately so you know exactly what you're paying for.
Screens get mounted and aligned on press so every color lands exactly where it should, pass after pass.
Each shirt is printed one pass per color, cured under heat to bond the ink into the fabric fibers rather than just sitting on top.
Every piece gets a visual check for registration, ink coverage, and cure before it's packed.

Less Ideal For
- Photo-realistic, gradient-heavy, or many-color designs — DTG or DTF will look better and cost less at low quantity
- A single one-off shirt where you want full-color art — see DTG

Pricing
Pricing is per shirt and drops in clean tiers as quantity goes up — the tiers exist because screen and labor time genuinely change, not because we're discounting a padded list price. A one-time screen fee applies per ink color, shown separately at quote time, and it's the same whether your order is 1 piece or 100 — it does not multiply per shirt. There is no reorder fee if you come back and want the same design again; we keep screens on file for repeat orders.
Turnaround
Standard turnaround is 5–7 business days from art approval. Rush turnaround is available — ask when you request a quote.
Screen Printing questions, answered straight.
What's the actual minimum order for screen printing?
There isn't one. A single shirt is a real order here, priced at the 1-color-or-more screen fee plus that piece's print cost. It costs more per shirt than a 50-piece order would, because the fixed screen cost is spread across fewer pieces — but you're never told to come back when you have a bigger order.
How many colors can a screen-printed design have?
Any number, technically — but each color is a separate screen and a separate cost. Most cost-effective designs run 1–4 colors. Past 5–6 colors, direct-to-film printing usually gets you a similar look for less.
Will screen printing crack or fade?
Properly cured plastisol ink shouldn't crack under normal washing (cold wash, tumble dry low, inside-out) for years. If a shop's print cracks in a few washes, it usually wasn't cured at full temperature — that's a process problem, not a screen printing problem.
Can you screen print on dark shirts?
Yes — that's actually where screen printing has the biggest edge over DTG. A white or light-colored screen-printed design on a black shirt lays down more opaque and solid than digital printing typically can.
Do you keep my screens for a reorder?
Yes, screens are kept on file for repeat designs, so a reorder skips the setup fee that a brand-new design would carry.
